Palmira

These three days are calm.

We are preparing the motorhome for the rest of the trip ... Small purchases at the hardware store ... Small supply of dry products (creamery - fruits - vegetables - butchery .... Prohibited at the border) and change of the gas bottle.

We also study the rest of the trip and we ake a first project on Thierry’s advice.

We play 'Skyjo' and 'Crapette', before ending with a dinner aperitif!!!

What good times shared with our friends.

We had to go back to the mechanic who had repaired the clutch to control a small noise in the engine.

In fact, he cannot receive us, being bedridden with a 'lumbago'... We quickly understand that he does not want to overhaul the engine. Also, we decide to leave tomorrow.
Palmira

The night was short, we woke up at 3:30 ... Damn jet lag!!!

We are starting this new trip : we will go to a mechanic to replace the shock absorbers that we brought back from France.

Being free, we go to a 'Western Union' branch to withdraw cash. The exchange rate is much better than four months ago.

We have lunch in a small restaurant and we stop at Carrefour.

Here, almost all the shops close between 12:30 and 15:00!!! The streets are empty ... Everything is quiet!!!

In the early afternoon, we return to the garage where our traveling companion is waiting for us.

Return to Valentin’s place, where we wait for 'Corinne and Thierry' who arrive from Chile.

Happy reunion ... We are always happy to see each other again ... We exchange news, and have dinner together, dinner that we have prepared for them.
Return to Argentina

We left Aigues-Mortes on Tuesday at 7:30 in the morning to arrive in Mendoza on Thursday at 1:30 local time, which is a 59-hour trip!!!

Upon our arrival, Valentin is waiting for us and we find our motorhome.

It is still in his hangar, well protected from the weather. Of course, it needs an exterior and interior cleaning.

We immediately get to work before nightfall.

At the end of the evening, we do a small refreshment and in bed early ... We are exhausted!
In France

We returned to France in mid-June for a 4-month stay to avoid the rainy season in Argentina and Chile.

This period was rich in emotion ... We received many friends and we were able to fully enjoy our home.

We also traveled to Northern Italy for 15 days and 15 days to Marrakech.

Then we ended up with a cousinade in the Lot valley.
