Pirenopolis
The road is as monotonous as the days before. This region is the breadbasket of Brazil
The landscape consists of huge fields of cotton, cereals and sugar cane.
The road conditions are uneven and today we drive part of the day on a road in ripio.
We settle in a campsite near the city center for two days.
Pirenopolis, colonial city, is surrounded by hills with red entrails and was founded in the eighteenth century by bandeirantes (adventurers in search of wealth)
It’s Sunday and the city is full ... We stroll through the streets with colorful houses and transformed into souvenir shops, restaurants or other.
It’s the end of the afternoon, time to treat ourselves to an ice cream that we pay by weight... We serve ourselves and try to recognize the flavors among the thirty proposed.
Back to the campsite
The second day is identical to the first one without the crowd and some shops closed.
Jussara / Goias
As yesterday, Christophe is on the news. Diojo has received the parts ... The motorhome is ready at 1:30 p.m.
We go to Goias and drive for two days to get there. We only have to monitor the levels

Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city of Goias also known as Vila Boa or Goias Velho, is home to magnificent baroque churches and beautiful colonial facades.
We fell under her spell ... And it’s ignored by the Guide du Routard.
We spend part of the day discovering this colonial city with cobbled streets and white houses and enhanced by the bright colors of the doors and windows
We buy candied fruit, specialty of the city, but we are very disappointed ... It’s only sugar!!
We land near a river for a quiet night.
Barras Do Garça
Leaving our spot, we stop again at a garage. He confirms that the belt is tight but that there are traces of oil on it. In addition, we consume a lot of coolant ...
This one can not do more and advises us to connect the city of Barras to 70 km from there. We drive slowly and head towards the garage that we find on our favorite site. We are received immediately by the mechanics ...
Verdict: the water pump must be changed and there is a leak in the oil pan ... One of the mechanics takes pictures ... But here they can not do the repair.
On its indications we will see another mechanic, then another ... in total 6 garages before finding the rare pearl.
"Diojo" the mechanic inspects the engine and confirms the verdict.
Luckily the water pump is available and will be delivered tomorrow morning ... We only have to take a hotel room for one night
Diojo leads us to a hotel next door. We spend the rest of the day working on the site and the videos
The next day, Christophe goes to the garage. The part arrives late in the morning and Diojo is already working on our poor camper ... He announces that:
* the changed gimbal head was not properly repaired.
* pivots are defective and are available
* small oil leak is located on the crankcase
We book an additional night and we stay by the pool the rest of the day.
Gen Carneiro
Before returning to the road we stop at a garage to adjust the belt of the alternator that sings a little.
Again we are stuck in the countryside by a major fire. This time, it is a truck that caught fire ... We wait more than an hour, stopped right next to the corpse of a decaying animal: unbreathable!
It’s a monotonous day.
Before arriving at the spot we have chosen, our rechante belt ...
Chapada Dos Guimares
We go back to the garage specialized in electricity. Unfortunately it does not have the room and it directs us to another garage.
Same for the next one. We can’t find the room (to see when we come back). We decide to move on.
* Chapada dos Guimarães: This small village is perched at 800m altitude and located in a huge park. The landscapes are different from those encountered in Pantanal with red cliffs lined with vegetation.
Picturesque valleys, waterfalls and caves are part of the wealth of this park. Among the sites to visit there is the waterfall «Véu da Noiva» 86m high.
Before landing at the campsite we make a stop in a supermarket "Pelé" (property of the famous footballer).
We are not alone tonight, two Belgian crews are present
Cuiaba
We are embedded in an event park (wedding rental ...) that offers access to motorhomes.
Very nice shady place with all the comfort ... Small inconvenience : on the axis of the landing runway of the airport!! Fortunately there is very little traffic.
The second day the park is booked for a wedding ... This one does not bother us at all. Guests arrive around 10 am and leave at 4 pm.
The weather is fine with a temperature of 38° during the day and 20° at night.
We are busy: cleaning the camper ... Again!! Well yes, the second day on the transpantaneira we recovered less sand and dust.
Apart from cleaning: reading, updating the site, sorting out photos and movies.
Our fridge plays tricks: the piezo no longer works.
Christophe controls everything and obviously the piezo is HS. To see tomorrow!!
