We had planned to fly to Paris early evening on the 10th, and previleged the plane because of the train strike.
Bad luck ! Air France joined the strike for two days and on Tuesday lunch time our outbound flight has been cancelled !
We managed to change the reservation and got another flight, later in the evening.
Our cousin Thierry hosted us for the night and we enjoyed good food and good wine until late.
First thing we did on Wednesday morning was to check the return flight : Cancelled. We immediately phoned Air France who promessed to call us back in the morning. They didn’t…
We arrived at the US Consulate on time despite the train strike.
Then we went to the Air France main Agency, spent 1h30 min and got the only return flight available to Montpellier on…thurday afternoon…

We got our camper back after one month at the Fiat workshop in Lunel.

First appointment at "l'institut Bouisson Bertrand" (tropical desease institute) in Monptellier to take stoke of the necessary vaccines.

It took us 1h30 minutes to apply for our US visa online, to pay 272€, and get our appointment at the Consulate in Paris on April 11th at midday.

Purchase of our plane ticket from Athens to Toronto where we will be waiting for the arrival of the camper in Halifax.
As boat delays are not unusual, we will fly on July the 30th, which will give us time to do some sightseeing in Toronto.

This leaves us 6 months for the last arrangements and procedures.
In December 2017, we contacted “SEABRIDGE”, the specialist in trans-ocean transportation for campers who registered our request although the ticket sale wasn’t yet open.
On February 5th comes an email from SEABRIDGE asking us to choose between different departures dates from Anvers.
July the 19th is our choice. The camper will arrive in Halifax on July the 30th.
The pick-up of our vehicle is planned 3 days after the arrival of the vessel
