During our stay in South Lipez and Salar de Uyuni we did not hear from our mechanic.
 
Returning to the campsite we stopped in his garage to find out the result of his research ... And what we felt happened.
 
We can’t find our cardan head in South America.
 
Only solution: order by internet in a company specialized in France.
 
We are actively looking for this spare part that we easily find with a large choice at various prices.
 
Before placing an order we call the warehouse to confirm that the part is compatible with our vehicle model. ... The answer is yes.
 
For a few years we have been using a company specialized in returning mail. She receives our mail which is scanned and sent by email to inform us ... It is up to us to decide whether to open the envelope or not.
 
Among the services offered by this company, there is the reception of packages and possibly the return to another address.
 
We contact them to find out the procedure for our case, then we order two cardan heads (one for each side, in case or).

                As expected the coins are wrong and returning them would cost us a fortune.
