Death Valley
We're sorry to leave " Las Vegas " as we really had a good resting time there under a beautiful sun and without beeing bankrupt !!!
We head north, direction " Death Valley ".
We stay three days there to enjoy breathtaking landscapes.
Here, mother nature reveals a spectacular show with water-sculupted canyons, singing sand dunes, palm-shaded oasis and eroded mountains.
It's the land of superlatives, holding the american records for hottest temperature ( 57 ° ) lowest point below sea level ( - 88 m ) and largest national park outside Alaska.
Each day drives us towards a big variety of landscapes (golden badlands, salt lake, sand dunes...)
Temperature not beeing " extreme " we play golf at " Furnace Creek Golf Course " which has the world's lowest elevation greens.
We also spend two nice evenings with Yumie and Francois.
