Wake up call at 6 A.M.for our departure towards Anvers
On our way, we make a stop to prepare the camper for it's transatlantic transfer. It must look empty from the inside and perfectly clean on the outside for it's customs inspection on the canadian border.
We were supposed to make another stop at a recomanded carwash...Bad luck : closed for vacation! Most of our belgian friends make their holiday in july.
Anyway, our camper looks clean with no mud on the body frame. So...
In Anver's harbour,we go through the customs desk.
While waiting,we meet two french couples who are picking up their camper from Halifax, after having spent 9 months in America. They tell us a bit about their experience and how they enjoyed it.
After a very last checking, we leave the camper on a parking lot where it should stay until it's departure on the 20th of july.
We meet there a swiss couple who is also leaving it's camper for the same crossing. We exchange informations and promess to get in touch on the other side of the Atlantic.
Everything is done within an hour.
We're now orphans !!!
A couple of hours later, Evelyn and Wolgang pick us up and drive us to their home in Alpen.
We spend two days with them and had a super evening with all the kids and grand children.
Two days to talk and relax. Just what we needed.
