We wake up in a thick fog that will slowly disappear.
We drive along the coast up to the old town of Lunenburg, world patrimony of UNESCO.
Founded in 1753, it's the best example of what is left from a british colonial establishment.
Narrow streets, very colourfull architecture and a marine museum make Lunenburg a very nice stopover. We have lunch there on a sunny terrace.
We then drive direction north and end on a Wallmart parking to spend the night.
D. Day ... Our camper is waiting for us !
8:45 : Forwarder
9:15 : Customs
9:30 : Habrour services
10:10 : WE ARE IN OUR CAMPER !!!
Shopping, giving back the car, the morning is already gone.
Now starts the real adventure !
We head to Peggy's Cove. Lovely scenic road, winding along the coast through forests and lakes. All the houses, mostly wooden ones, are colourfull and surrounded by nice gardens full of flowers. Each cove shelters a little harbour.
The speed limit here, varies between 50 to 80 km/h. Canadian are very respectfull. So going from A to B can take ages ! But we're on holiday !
Peggy's cove Tourist Office offers a large RV parking. Tha'ts where we're going to spend the night.
The village is famous fir it's lighthouse built on white granit rocks. Very photogenic.
When we arrived in Toronto, we thought 2 days would be too much there.
Today we are sorry to leave this city. We very much liked its multicultural atmosphere, its architecture mixing the 18th century with modernity.
We have to fly to Halifax to pick up our camper that we're now missing. We're very much looking forward to finding it back.
We land in Halifax with 1 hour 30 min delay, on a sunny afternoon, pick up our rented car and reach our hotel.
Although it's already 5 P.M. we decide to go to the town center.
We take the ferry for a short bay crossing and enjoy the streets of the old town with its historical buildings.
